Aswin Subramanyan traces his astrological lineage through more than 350 years of maternal heritage. He began his formal study in 2010-11 under his granduncle Shri. G. Gurumoorthy Iyer. Deeply rooted in the Vedic tradition, he also integrates Hellenistic and Persian astrological traditions into his work, bringing together diverse streams of classical astrological knowledge within a coherent predictive framework.

He holds a Diploma in Traditional Natal Predictive Astrology and an M.A. in Indian Astrology and is currently pursuing a PhD. Aswin is the author of Firdaria – Periods of Life and the multi-volume series Foundations and Frameworks of Indian Astrology, beginning with Volume I: Essentials of Jyotiṣa. He is also the co-author of Astrology by Moonlight.

Aswin serves on the Council of the Association for Professional Astrologers International (APAI) and is the editor of its quarterly journal, The APAI Chronycle. He is a board member of CAPISAR and also a columnist for the Organisation for Professional Astrology’s The Evolving Astrologer Magazine.

A dedicated teacher of traditional astrology, Aswin teaches his flagship Year I Diploma in Indian Astrology, supported by an extensive body of original teaching material grounded in the Vedic corpus and over two millennia of classical Indian astrological tradition. He is a faculty member at Kepler College and AstroCollege, where he teaches courses on Indian astrology and traditional astrology.

Aswin lectures internationally for astrological organisations and conferences and has presented for audiences across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. Muthu Vijayan Elango is an astrologer, educator, author, and entrepreneur who has dedicated more than two decades to the study and practice of Jyotisha.

His journey began in 2002 under the guidance of his father and mentor, Shri. Elango Annamalai, whose fifty years of astrological experience shaped his approach to astrology and consulting. Since then, Muthu has combined traditional astrological wisdom with modern teaching and practical application.

He has taught Vedic Astrology to more than 6,000 learners through online education, with many students going on to pursue astrology professionally. He has mentored and continues to mentor many students on a one-one basis to help and support their study and practice. His experience also includes thousands of extensive one-to-one astrological consultations.

Muthu is the author of two books: Achieving Success Through Astrological Guidance and An Astrological Study of Modern Careers. He is also a columnist for APAI’s quarterly journal The APAI Chronycle.
